Problems Encountered

In "Dinosaur Run," I faced two main issues. The first was with the game's collision detection. Characters were not interacting properly with obstacles. I fixed this by tweaking the game's physics and collision settings, and add invisible barriers between obstacles. The second issue was integrating the artists' work into the game. It was challenging to get their 2D art to look right in the game's world. I solved this by working together with the artist, regularly discussing and refining how we integrated their art into the game models.

Reflection

In creating "Dinosaur Run," I realized the value of having clear Design Pillars. Identifying key objectives like engaging gameplay and intuitive user experience helped guide the development process. My interaction with various player feedback, similar to understanding a game's audience, was instrumental in refining the game mechanics and design. Leading the project also honed my skills in team coordination and maintaining a unified vision, mirroring the collaborative essence of game development. This experience has been pivotal in my understanding of how to balance creative ideas with practical execution.
